I met Tim a few years ago at one of our CTU sessions. Tim was in my cohort so we spent a bit of time getting to know each other. After our session ended, we all went our separate ways, but Tim kept in touch. He kept me motivated to complete my degree. One thing that was so special about him was that, even though he lived clear on the other side of the country, he always seemed to know when I needed a little encouragement. When I was feeling low, I'd always get a pm on FB with some crazy comment or memory. He is on our prayer list at church and everyone asks after him. They will be sad to hear of his passing. Even from so far away, he was a light in my life and I will miss him.
